Multimedia volunteers are needed to videotape resident in-house TV program once a week on Thursday morning, or to assist as back-up volunteer, and/or videotape Oakwood Village Prairie Ridge independent living Resident Council meetings the 1st Monday every month of the year. Volunteers need to have video equipment experience although training will be provided to learn use of Oakwood equipment. Day, time and scheduling to be determined with potential volunteers based on schedule for resident TV program and Resident Council meeting along with volunteers' availability.

Interested persons need to go through Oakwood Village's registration and orientation process, and make an ongoing, indefinite commitment, to be considered for placement. Additional orientation and training provided by Oakwood Village Prairie Ridge resident volunteer liaison as needed upon placement. Volunteers need to follow guidelines in using Oakwood video equipment and have good organizational skills when scheduled to record programs, meetings and/or services. Volunteers also need to be courteous, considerate and cooperative when working with Oakwood Village Prairie Ridge residents and/or staff while recording programs, meetings and/or services.

Oakwood Village East is located at 5565 Tancho Drive, near American Family Insurance Headquarters, in the vicinity of Hwy. 151 and I-90/94. From Hwy. 151, take the American Parkway exit and following American Parkway to Tancho Drive. Turn right onto Tancho and immediately turn left into the Oakwood Village East main entrance. Oakwood East is accessible by car only at this time.
