The Asian American Donor Program is a community non-profit organization geared towards saving lives. People of multi-ethnic descent (Asian, Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, African American, Mixed Race) are desperately needed to register as potential marrow/stem cell donors.

Description:
AADP conducts marrow registration drives all over northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area. Volunteer opportunities are available for those looking to do long term, short term and as needed volunteer work.

Volunteers may be able to assist with:

web upkeep, blogging, and working with social networks
general administrative tasks
assembling registration kits
assistance in facilitating outreach events
event planning
outreaching to ethnic communities and providing education about the importance of becoming a volunteer donor.
